2009 Convention!

In order to achieve our primary mission of making the festival FREE for everyone attending and a FREE show,we are planning on holding our next convention in 2009, giving our group enough time to have the proper resources available.

Our quite tentative dates are March 27 - 29, 2009.

The OSU Campus (Fieldhouse) will once again play host to the convention. Those interested in participating in the convention(Teaching, Performing, general helpfulness) please feel free to contact David Sallee via e-mail: A_Juggler (at) (Yahoo.com)

Knowing David, there will be several shamelessly silly promotional videos appearing mid to late 2008. He will also be scouting for talent at the EJC 2008 in Germany, so be sure to say "Hi" there.

Thanks to everyone that supported and made the 2007festival such a great success. Let's do it again in2009!!!

Convention DVD Update: Renegade Teaser

Crizzly had a great concept for the video, so I put it
together :-)

I hope to make some excellent progress on the DVD this
weekend and keep on track with the May 7th shipping
deadline.

So, things are going well and I'll keep updating as
progress is made.

For those keeping score, here's what's done:

Promos (nice to start with something that was already
done . . . heh heh 11 min)

I tackled the harder ones first (music videos involve
a lot more editing, so they take far more work per
minute of "screen time") so I feel pretty good about
the ability to get the things done on time.

Convention DVD

Greetings!

I do believe there will be a highlights DVD.

I'm currently in the process (tapes are streaming even
as I type this) of moving the footage from the Camera
over to the laptop.

I have somewhere close to 9 hrs of footage to go
through . . . heh heh.

The current "Plan" for the DVD is as follows (skip if
you don't like "spoilers" ;-)

Honestly, I have no release date in mind, but I do
want to take the Main Show footage and create a fun
Music Video Teaser as soon as I can and get it on
Google as a way to advertise the event and try to drum
up some interest for the DVD project.

That should be available for viewing sometime next
week even (if all goes well this weekend).
